When I think of summer, I think of running through sprinklers, lemonade stands and roasting marshmallows over the fire.
I promise I’m not nine years old, guys.
I still do all that stuff… and I have s’more for dinner because I’m also an adult and can do what I want.
No matter how old you are, s’mores are a summer time staple.
We are taking s’mores to a whole ‘nother level today, friends!
This is a super fun and crazy easy way to have a little backyard fun.
The combinations are endless, and so delicious.
There are so many more options to offer that I didn’t even put out. There are different flavors of marshmallows, different flavors of graham cracker, tons of different cookies, more spreads like nutella, marshmallow fluff, or cookie butter, different fruits, more candies, etc. The options really are endless, and everyone had so much fun deciding what combination they were going to try next.
When I was young my parents bought a projector and hung a big white sheet on the back of the garage to project movies onto. All the neighbors and their kids would come over to our house to watch a movie. We all had sleeping bags and pillows and lawn chairs, not to mention popcorn and snacks and we would all lay on the grass and watch a movie on the back of the garage. It’s one of my very favorite memories.
It was almost as good as going to a drive-in movie with the family and snuggling all together in the bed of the truck.
What happened to drive-ins?!
They were the most awesome things ever, and now you can hardly find them!
Let’s bring those back, guys.
ANYWAY, the point I was making when I started this campaign was that it would be awesome to invite all your friends over and break out the always classic and forever funny “Sandlot”.
