Raspberry Limeade

Remember how I told you that I’ve been obsessed with raspberries lately and I’ve been putting them into everything?

I was seriously not joking around.

I am indulging in the full bounty of summer this year. I just want to bury my face in a big pile of raspberries at all waking moments of the day.

So… If I’m being 100% honest with myself here, this is kind of a cheater recipe.

This is a twist on one of the most popular recipes on my blog but it was so good that it was worthy of a post all on it’s own.

Speaking of the original recipe…

Friends, are you sitting?

I have good news and I have bad news. Brace yourselves.

The bad news, is that my pictures are getting stolen by some liquor company online.

The good news, is that MY PICTURES ARE GETTING STOLEN BY SOME LIQUOR COMPANY ONLINE!

GUYZ.

MY PICTURES ARE GOOD ENOUGH TO GET STOLEN!!!!!!!!

WHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

One of my favorite ways to cool off during the summer. This drink is crisp and refreshing!

Ingredients

  1. 6 cups cold water

  2. 1 cup sugar

  3. 4 limes

  4. 2 cups fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Mix water and sugar together until sugar is dissolved. Put in the fridge to chill until ready to use.

  2. Use soap and water to thoroughly wash the limes. You want to scrub really well because you are going to be using the whole lime! After you've washed and scrubbed your limes, cut the ends off the limes (DO NOT MISS THIS STEP!) and then cut them into eighths.

  3. Place half of the limes, half of the raspberries and half of the sugar water in your blender and pulse 5 times. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into the pitcher that you are going to serve it in. Discard the pulp and seeds from the raspberries. Repeat with the second half of your limes, raspberries and sugar water. Serve over lots of ice.

So, you dirty thieves you, thank you for the compliment.

But please don’t do it again or I’ll hunt you down.
