Gluten Free Brownies

I am just as surprised as anybody to see a gluten free recipe on this site.

Turns out I have a lot of dear friends that have some sort of gluten intolerance all the way to full blown Celiac’s disease.

I demand that they get to have good desserts too!

I had never tried any gluten free desserts before this one, and after tasting these I have to admit I don’t feel like these friends of mine are missing out on much in the brownie department anymore.

THESE ARE SO GOOD.

Like, so good that I don’t really think that I ever need a regular brownie recipe again.

They are fudgey and soft and everything you’ve ever wanted from your brownie.

And best part is, everyone can enjoy them!

Unless you are allergic to chocolate. In that case, I have never been more sorry for anyone in my life.

Gluten Free Brownies

Ingredients: 1/2 cup sugar 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons whipping cream or half & half 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup milk chocolate chips 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2/3 cup gluten free flour mix (you can find at walmart in the baking aisle or yourhomebasedmom has a great recipe!) 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions: Preheat oven to 325° F and grease an 8×8 pan. In a saucepan over medium heat combine sugar, butter and cream and heat until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until they melt. Add in eggs and vanilla and mix until combined. Add in dry ingredients and stir until mixture is smooth. Pour into greased pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Just kidding. I have been more sorry for people before. Like people who are allergic to bacon.

Now THAT is a real travesty.
