Pomegranate Salad

Mmmmmhhh…. pomegranates. They are like the prettiest and tastiest of all the fruits.

My little brother can eat them by the POUND.

A pound of pomegranates seeds…. that’s a lot of seeds, since they weigh approximately, oh… I don’t know…

Nothing.

Seriously though,

Check those out!

They are almost too pretty to eat.

Key word = almost.

They are really awesome in so many things, but you need to try them in this salad.

I had never had this fruit salad until I married my husband. It is a Thurston family Thanksgiving staple, one that I will be MORE than happy to keep serving over and over every Thanksgiving.

… And lots in between.

This pomegranate salad is light and fruity - the perfect dessert salad!

My Mom Taught Me To Play With my food http://playzwithfood.com/ Oh, and those dishes? They are my mom’s polish pottery dishes.

One of the MANY reasons I LOVE cooking in her kitchen.

It’s okay. I’m jealous of them too.
