Jen’s Pasta Sauce

I got this recipe from Famous Julie, who got it from her sister, Aunt Jenny. Aunt Jenny is one of the most wonderful and funny human beings on this entire planet. I rarely get to see her because she lives so far away and stays super busy saving the world and all the people in it, but I always look forward to the time we spend together.

She also always has the most fabulous recipes including this super simple, yet incredibly delicious pasta sauce. She’s just way too cool for school.

This sauce is delicious. It is so delicious that sometimes I just eat the sauce by itself. That makes me sound like a total weirdo… but just try this sauce and you will totally understand.

It also makes your house smell absolutely AMAZING. You guys just need to make this and you can experience all of these awesome things yourself.

I guarantee you that you can whip this up faster than the amount of time it would take to go to the grocery store and buy a bottle of Ragu. Unless you live in a grocery store… in that case it probably would be faster to just walk to the aisle and pick up a bottle. But it would not be nearly as delicious! Plus, you know exactly what is going into your sauce, and it makes you sound kind of cool when you say you threw together your own pasta sauce from scratch.

Skip the Ragu! Go for the good stuff. I'll bet you can whip this up faster than it would take your to run to the store that canned garbage anyway. Try it and see.

My FAVORITE way to eat this is piled on top of a grilled chicken breast with a little parmesan cheese sprinkled over the top.

SO. GOOD.
